This key position as a working supervisor will assist and provide leadership to the employees who perform these functions in a regional printing facility, responsible for printing multiple newspapers for the region.
This position is responsible to:
Ensure accurate and timely insertion, addressing and packaging of all inserted and mailed products. Prepare nightly paperwork, reports, and tracking documents. Set up equipment such as inserter machine hoppers, ink jetting equipment, stackers, conveyors and Mirasert. Ability to learn addressing periodicals to be mailed via USPS. Stage pallets of print products, print and set up mail tags, mail sacking and label making Monitor preprints and Miracom file movement, mark and sort bundle tops, label files and printing Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, set priorities, control waste and produce quality work. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate orally in conversation both in person and by telephone. Strong people skills and the ability to interact with others and remain focused while dealing with multiple objectives and timelines. The ability to work in a team setting, develop and motivate people, and embrace the concept of teamwork. Self-motivation with the ability to work independently. Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities Ability to operate motorized pallet jack and fork truck. Promote safety and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
