Wide Format Print Specialist and Bindery Operator to join our vibrant production team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of large-format printing and finishing operations, transforming creative concepts into high-quality visual solutions. Your expertise will ensure that every print job meets precise specifications, maintains exceptional quality standards, and is delivered efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to innovative print advertising projects, all while honing your skills in graphic design, machine operation, and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities Partner with clients by phone, email and in person, providing excellent customer service. Create quotes for custom orders using our proprietary software, follow-up with clients directly Operate wide-format printers, including digital and large-format printing equipment, ensuring optimal color management and print quality. Interpret production documents accurately to set up jobs, including layout design, typography, and color specifications. Perform mechanical adjustments and routine maintenance on printing and finishing machines to ensure smooth operation. Execute cutting, paper binding, mounting, laminating, and other finishing processes with precision to meet client specifications. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to identify and resolve issues related to color accuracy, print alignment, or material defects. Collaborate with team members on manufacturing tasks when required. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols related to industrial equipment operation and machining. Desired Skills Proven experience operating large-format printers, digital printing equipment, or similar industrial manufacturing machinery. Strong understanding of color management principles and graphic design fundamentals using Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software. Mechanical knowledge of press operation, machine adjustment, and troubleshooting techniques for industrial equipment. Skilled in interpreting production documents including layouts, technical specifications, and print advertising requirements. Ability to perform cutting, paper binding, mounting, laminating, and other finishing tasks efficiently. Familiarity with prepress software for preparing files for high-quality printing output. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the production process.
