Position:
Die Cast Operator - Denison,TX Job Summary Interacts with member of the Die Cast Department (machine operator, leads, and supervisor), Quality Control(inspectors and leads, Maintenance Department, and Tool Crib Attendants. This position is responsible for operation a numbers manual, semi-automatic, and automatic die casting machines which produce a variety of die-cast parts. The operator will be responsible for the removal, installation, and operation of die-cast dies. Primary Duties and Responsibilities 70% Operates all semi-automatic and automatic die casting machines per approved die casting procedures. This includes starting machines, turning off machines, adjusting sprue fault, and starting robots. 10% Performs hourly quality checks and must complete SPC Form. 5% Performs set-ups on any of the semi-automatic automatic die casting machines. 5% Performs repairs/ maintenance on any die casing machine in department as required and upon authorization by the supervisor and /or lead. This involves repairing water leaks, replacing cutters, and changing nozzles. 5% Change rings, pistons, goosenecks, and plum dies while working with 800• metal. 5% Keeps and maintains good housekeeping in the department. Education and Experience Profile High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of related machine operator experience preferred. Required Skills

Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
