This pivotal role involves working in a CTE print shop, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining efficient workflows across various printing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in print manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional print solutions. As a key driver of our print services, you will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, optimizing machine performance, and fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily print shop operations, including large-format printing, digital printing, screen printing, and flexo press activities. Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of industrial equipment such as CNC machines, CNC cutters, and other manufacturing tools to ensure optimal performance. Manage color management processes to guarantee accurate color reproduction across all print projects. Coordinate with graphic design teams to interpret production documents accurately and ensure alignment with client specifications. Implement quality control procedures to monitor print output quality, troubleshoot issues promptly, and uphold high standards. Supervise prepress workflows utilizing prepress software and graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite to prepare files for production. Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously while operating machinery such as paper cutters, and other industrial tools. Optimize workflow efficiency by adjusting machine settings, performing routine maintenance, and training staff on new technologies or processes. Collaborate with clients or internal teams on layout design, print advertising materials, and technical specifications to meet project goals. Maintain inventory levels of raw materials like paper stock and inks while managing procurement processes effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in print shop management or a similar leadership role within manufacturing or printing industries. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience operating large-format printers, flexo presses, and other industrial equipment. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress software tools. Expertise in color management techniques to ensure consistent color accuracy across multiple projects. Knowledge of layout design principles and typography relevant to print advertising materials. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and translate them into actionable tasks on the shop floor. Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues swiftly. Physical ability to operate machinery safely; familiarity with forklift operation is a plus.
