Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Automation Foreman to lead a team of four machine operators and oversee the daily operation of our automated cutting and profiling equipment. This position combines production leadership, CNC programming, machine operation, quality control, and team supervision. The Automation Foreman will be responsible for ensuring work is scheduled and completed safely, efficiently, and accurately while maintaining production quality and minimizing machine downtime. The successful candidate will have strong experience with CNC-controlled manufacturing equipment and the ability to program workpieces for both our HGG profiling machine and TCI laser cutting machine. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and coordinate the daily activities of four machine operators. Assign work and prioritize production according to schedules, deadlines, and material availability. Program and prepare workpieces for the HGG profiling machine. Program and prepare workpieces for the TCI laser cutting machine. Review drawings, cut files, dimensions, and production requirements to ensure accurate programming and machine setup. Optimize cutting and profiling programs for material utilization, production efficiency, and quality. Set up machines and verify programs before production runs. Troubleshoot programming, machine, and production issues and make adjustments as necessary. Perform first-piece inspections and monitor production quality throughout the run. Ensure operators follow established work instructions, quality standards, and safe operating procedures. Monitor machine performance, production rates, downtime, and material usage. Coordinate with engineering, production management, and other departments to resolve manufacturing issues. Maintain accurate production records and communicate production status, delays, and issues to management. Identify opportunities to improve workflow, machine utilization, programming efficiency, and overall productivity. Ensure work areas and equipment are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition. Assist with training and development of operators to improve their technical skills and productivity. Support preventative maintenance efforts and promptly report equipment issues. Qualifications Previous experience in a CNC manufacturing, automated cutting, profiling, or fabrication environment. Experience programming and operating CNC machinery. Demonstrated experience with HGG profiling equipment and/or similar CNC profile-cutting systems. Experience with laser cutting equipment, preferably TCI or comparable systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, and specifications. Strong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, tooling, cutting parameters, and material handling. Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and work with manufacturing software. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, engineering, and management. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and prioritize multiple jobs. Pay:

$26.00 - $29.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 55.0 per week
