Description Job Purpose:
- The Turret/Brake Operator at VFP INC is responsible for the efficient setup and operation of CNC turret presses and brake presses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC turret presses and brake presses with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) skills to enhance production processes.
- Issue and manage inventory of raw materials to ensure seamless production flow.
- Perform tool maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Conduct basic machine maintenance to prevent downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Clean and maintain equipment to uphold safety and quality standards.
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Technical certification in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC turret presses and brake presses.
- Demonstrated experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Experience in tool maintenance and basic machine maintenance.
- Familiarity with inventory management and issuing raw materials.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in setting up and operating CNC turret presses and brake presses.
