Job Purpose:

Learn how to print envelopes that meet company quality standards while maintaining optimum speeds and minimal downtime

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Responsible for making ready, operating, and maintaining sheet-fed offset printing press. This includes learning how to set-up and adjust KBA presses for job runs to meet specifications. Learn how to make necessary color or register corrections and/or press adjustments prior to the production run to meet and maintain the quality specifications of the work. Required Skills Working along side an established Pressman you will learn how to: Set up / adjust KoenigBauer - KBA press for job runs to meet specifications - comparable Heidleburg, Speedmaster experience Perform document review to ensure job requirements are known and understood. Monitor product quality during production runs. Check product quality against the sample and established quality standards and make corrections as necessary. Perform press repairs, maintenance, upkeep, and cleaning. Follow Pressroom procedures for control sheets, charging timematerial, load tags, FSC stock, and samples Maintain acceptable productivity standards while minimizing raw material waste Perform additional duties as assigned.
