Machine Operator -

Roll-Forming Set-Up Operator Department:

Production Reports to: Plant Supervisor Job Summary We are a manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a dynamic individual to join our production team in the roll forming department Summary of essential job functions:

• Set up forming rolls on a 1 ½" shaft Roll- Forming Mill, with typical 16 passes.
• Operate and maintain Roll-forming machines.
• Perform tooling change over to set up the machine to produce different profiles/shapes.
• Perform quality checks on product being manufactured.
• Meet objectives and KPI's by ensuring efficient and safe operation.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience in setting up Roll-Forming machines.
• Flexible on shift times and overtime as required.
• Must be able to read a measuring tape.
• Must be able to read a digital caliper.
• Able to move heavy materials manually or using a hoist.
• Forklift experience is an asset but not immediately required.
• Mechanical aptitude and general knowledge of machine operation and maintenance.
• Attention to detail

Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
