About Us Luetzow Industries is a family-owned manufacturer located in South Milwaukee and proudly manufacturing in the USA since 1956. We produce custom printed plastic packaging for customers across North America using specialized flexographic printing equipment. We are looking for a mechanically inclined individual to operate and maintain our printing presses. Previous flexographic printing experience is preferred but not required. Position Summary Third Shift (Monday-Thursday, 9:00 PM-7:00 AM) 4-Day Work Week $28-35/hr Overtime Available The Flexographic Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce quality products that meet customer specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to production specifications. Monitor print quality throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed. Install printing plates, prepare inks, and load materials for production. Troubleshoot press issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime. Complete production paperwork and quality documentation accurately. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing best practices. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and customer deadlines. Qualifications Manufacturing, machine operation, printing, or other production experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and production techniques. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
