This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional to work with a leader in the commercial printing industry specializing in catalogs and magazines. As a Press Operator, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of a heat-set web press to produce high-quality printed materials. Machine Setup:
Read job tickets and prepare the press with necessary paper, ink, and supplies.
Production Monitoring:
Achieve proper web alignment and tension while monitoring for consistent color and quality.
Equipment Operation:
Set up and operate stackers, sheeters, and UV coaters, ensuring all product meets precision standards.
Maintenance:
Perform general and preventative maintenance on the press and related equipment.
Team Communication:
Discuss project specifications and progress with the incoming shift to ensure a seamless transition Working hours: 6:00 PM - 6:00
AM Skills:
Machine operating experience Word processing knowledge
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
