This position is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining the KM-1 digital inkjet press while ensuring each project meets our quality and production standards. This is a full-time, Monday-through-Friday position. Responsibilities Set up and operate the Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 press. Review job tickets, artwork specifications, quantities, materials, and finishing requirements. Prepare files and production settings for accurate printing. Load paper and verify the correct stock, size, grain direction, and quantity. Monitor color consistency, registration, image quality, and overall print accuracy. Perform press checks and identify defects before completing production runs. Make adjustments to color, alignment, feeding, and press settings as needed. Troubleshoot equipment, software, file, and print-quality issues. Complete routine operator maintenance and keep the press and surrounding work area clean. Accurately record production quantities, waste, downtime, and job completion information. Communicate equipment concerns, delays, and material needs to management. Coordinate with prepress, bindery, and production teams to keep projects moving efficiently. Follow all company safety, quality-control, and production procedures. Meet daily deadlines while minimizing waste and maintaining high-quality standards. Skills Previous experience working in commercial printing is required . Experience operating a Konica Minolta AccurioJet KM-1 is strongly preferred. Experience operating other high-production digital or offset presses may be considered. Strong understanding of paper stocks, color, registration, print quality, and production workflows. Comfortable working with computers, press software, RIP systems, and digital job files. Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot basic equipment and production issues. Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality. Able to read and follow job tickets, written specifications, and production instructions. Reliable, dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule. Able to manage multiple jobs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Able to work independently while also contributing as part of a production team. Willing to learn new equipment, software, and printing processes. Able to stand for extended periods and safely lift and handle printing materials.
