Job Description
Supernova Printing is looking for an experienced and dependable Screen Printing Press Operator to join our production team. This is a hands-on position for someone who already understands apparel screen printing and can confidently set up and operate an automatic press. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must have previous professional screen-printing experience. Responsibilities Set up and operate an Anatol Volt automatic screen-printing press Register and print single-color and multicolor designs Mix inks and make adjustments when necessary Select the proper screens, squeegees, print settings and flash times Maintain consistent ink coverage, registration and print quality Troubleshoot common production and print-quality issues Inspect finished garments for accuracy and defects Follow job specifications and meet production deadlines Keep the press and surrounding work area clean and organized Assist with screen preparation, reclaiming and other production tasks when needed Qualifications At least two years of professional apparel screen-printing experience preferred Experience operating an automatic screen-printing press is required Strong knowledge of multicolor registration, flashing and curing Familiarity with plastisol inks and different garment materials Ability to identify and correct common screen-printing problems Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Able to stand for extended periods and lift boxes of garments and supplies English or Spanish speakers are welcome How to Apply Please submit your resume or a brief description of your screen-printing experience.
