MOSIDA MOSIDA
(Museum of Social Interactive Digital Art) is a new interactive art museum in Wynwood where visitors create personalized digital artwork and experiences. Our Print Center turns those digital creations into physical products visitors can take home—including stickers, apparel, canvas prints, and other personalized merchandise. We are looking for a hands-on Print Center Supervisor to manage daily print production and ensure every customer receives a high-quality finished product. What You'll Do Manage the day-to-day operation of MOSIDA's Print Center. Operate and oversee our three primary printing systems: Sticker printing and cutting DTF apparel printing and heat transfer Large-format canvas printing Receive and organize customer print orders from the museum and Art Center. Prioritize production based on order volume and required turnaround time. Prepare digital files for production and identify basic file-quality or sizing issues. Perform printing, cutting, heat pressing, finishing, and other production tasks. Inspect finished products and maintain consistent quality standards. Minimize printing errors, material waste, and unnecessary reprints. Maintain printers and production equipment according to manufacturer recommendations. Troubleshoot routine printing and equipment problems. Maintain ink, media, transfer film, canvas, sticker material, apparel blanks, and other production supplies. Monitor inventory and reorder supplies before shortages occur. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Print Center. Train and supervise Print Center associates. Work closely with the Front of House & Retail team to ensure accurate orders and excellent customer service. Track production volume, turnaround time, errors, reprints, and material usage. What We're Looking For We want someone who is hands-on, organized, technically comfortable, detail-oriented, and highly dependable .
The ideal candidate:
Has experience with digital printing, print shops, sign shops, apparel printing, or commercial print production. Has experience operating or learning print-and-cut sticker printers, DTF printers, heat presses, and/or large-format printers . Understands basic print-production concepts such as resolution, sizing, color, media selection, and file preparation. Has strong attention to detail and quality control. Can troubleshoot routine equipment and production problems. Can manage multiple customer orders at the same time. Understands the importance of production speed while maintaining quality. Is comfortable training and supervising other employees. Has good communication and customer-service skills. Takes ownership rather than waiting for someone else to solve problems. Qualifications 2+ years of digital printing, print production, sign production, apparel printing, or related experience preferred. Experience with DTF printing and heat pressing is highly desirable. Experience with large-format printing and/or print-and-cut equipment is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, RIP software, or similar print-production software is preferred. Previous supervisory or team-lead experience is preferred but not required for a strong print-production candidate. Ability to work weekends and holidays as required by museum operations. The Print Center Supervisor will play an important role in turning a visitor's digital experience into something they can actually take home. We are looking for someone who enjoys printing, technology, problem-solving, production, and creating high-quality personalized products and wants to help us build an efficient Print Center from the ground up.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
