July 2026 Position Summary The Offset Press Assistant will assist in the operation and maintenance of offset printing presses. The role involves supporting press operators, learning the printing process, and ensuring the smooth operation of the press. Supervisory Responsibilities
  • None Key Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist press operators in setting up and operating offset printing presses
  • Prepare materials and supplies needed for printing jobs.
  • Load paper and other materials into the press.
Monitor the printing process to ensure quality and consistency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of printing equipment. Help troubleshooting and resolve minor issues with the press. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Always follow safety protocols and procedures. Participate in training sessions to learn about offset printing techniques and equipment. Required Skills & Competencies Be able to perform work related math functions (which includes the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide)
  • Ability to read and write in English Must be able to multi-task Good verbal and written comprehension, with ability to receive and follow instructions Ability to thrive in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of the Metric system is a plus. Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of printing processes is a plus but not required. Physical & Work Environment Requirements

Pay:
