Duties Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot large-format screen printing equipment and digital printers to produce high-quality prints efficiently. Adjust industrial equipment settings to ensure optimal color accuracy, registration, and print quality across various substrates. Interpret production documents and specifications accurately to execute layout design, typography, and print advertising requirements. Manage color matching and color management processes to maintain consistency across batches. Perform routine maintenance on printing machinery, including mechanical adjustments and machining tasks to prevent downtime. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the printing process to identify defects or inconsistencies and implement corrective actions promptly. Collaborate with prepress teams using graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for production. Skills Strong knowledge of screen printing techniques, digital printing, flexo press operation, and industrial equipment adjustment. Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and layout design tools. Experience with color management systems and print advertising standards. Mechanical knowledge related to machine operation, machining, cutting, paper binding, and large-format printers. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Technical proficiency in prepress processes such as layout design, typography, and prepress software tools. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
