Press Operator 2nd shift (Flexo)

Flexo Press Operator Penmac Staffing is hiring a Flexo Press Operator for a local manufacturing company in the Brainerd area. This full-time, temp-to-hire position works Monday through Thursday, 2pm to 12am, with a pay range of $21 to $25 per hour depending on qualifications. Candidates must possess previous printing experience. Requirements for the Flexo Press Operator are: One year of press or printing-related production experience is required. Understanding of the printing process and equipment. Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills. Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot basic press issues. Detail oriented and proactive in identifying quality concerns. Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 75 lbs occasionally. Comfortable with constant standing, crouching, walking, and repetitive tasks. Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check. Overtime may be required. Flexo Press Operator Responsibilities Set up and operate a flexographic printing press according to job tickets and specifications. Work with Press Assistants to ensure accurate setup including ink, dies, stock, plates, and job notes. Run jobs and record setup and production data in the LabelTrax system. Inspect printed rolls for color registration, die cut accuracy, and overall label quality. Move completed rolls to finishing and clean the press in preparation for the next job. Communicate with supervisors regarding press issues, label concerns, or die problems. Maintain accurate data on materials used, variances, and job notes. Participate in continuous improvement activities and follow all safety and housekeeping standards. Rewards Full-time, 2nd shift schedule Monday through Thursday, 2pm-12am.
