The Printing Press Operator is responsible for setting up the press correctly to run jobs and maintaining a smooth operation of the press.What You'll Be Doing:
- Follow work instructions on job ticket
- Verify paper type/other document specifications
- Monitor quality of product being produced
- Deliver product to next routing area
- Replace toner when necessary.
- Adjust settings on computer software for press specifications and quality needs What makes you a great fit:
- Set up, control press and console operations
- Knowledge of color theory, common printing issues and troubleshooting
- A high personal standard of quality
- Responsible for performing machine make ready, achieving run speed standards, productivity efficiencies, and more importantly, achieving customer requirements and quality standards
- Good understanding of pre-press functions.
