Monday-Friday, Day Shift (Overtime as Needed) Position Summary The Kanata Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our production team. This position is responsible for producing high-quality printed products by operating manual and/or automatic screen printing equipment. The ideal candidate has experience in screen printing production, understands quality control standards, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain screen printing equipment. Prepare screens, inks, and materials according to job specifications. Review work orders and ensure products are printed accurately and efficiently. Monitor print quality, color consistency, registration, and overall product appearance throughout production runs. Troubleshoot minor printing and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Clean and reclaim screens, maintain equipment, and perform routine preventive maintenance. Mix inks and match colors as required. Inspect completed products to ensure they meet customer and company quality standards. Meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with other production, finishing, and shipping tasks as needed. Qualifications Required Previous experience in screen printing, print production, or a related manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and follow work orders and production specifications. Good hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic. Preferred Experience operating manual and automatic screen printing presses. Knowledge of ink mixing and color matching. Experience printing on textiles, promotional products, signs, or related materials. Familiarity with screen preparation, coating, exposure, and reclaiming processes. Basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance experience.
