We are looking for someone who understands the screen-printing process, can confidently set up and run production, troubleshoot problems, maintain equipment, and help guide other team members in the shop. The right person will be hands-on and comfortable taking ownership of the printing process while working as part of a small production team. What You'll Do As the Lead Screen Printer, you will oversee the day-to-day screen-printing process from setup through finished product.
Responsibilities include:

Properly cure printed garments and ensure finished products meet quality standards. Mix inks and maintain consistency across production runs. Break down, clean, reclaim, and prepare screens for future jobs. Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. Identify potential equipment or production problems before they result in downtime or product waste. Help train and provide day-to-day direction to Screen Printers and other team members assisting with apparel production. Maintain an organized production schedule and communicate potential delays, supply needs, or production concerns. Help minimize misprints, waste, and production errors while maintaining efficient output. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area. Assist with folding, sorting, counting, and preparing completed apparel for upcoming events as needed. Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines, especially during busy race seasons. Assist with other production and warehouse needs when necessary. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has previous professional screen-printing experience. Can confidently set up and operate screen-printing equipment with minimal supervision. Understands screen preparation, registration, ink application, curing, and quality control. Has experience troubleshooting common screen-printing and production issues. Is comfortable taking ownership of production jobs from setup through completion. Can help train and guide less-experienced team members. Is dependable and shows up ready to work. Has a strong work ethic and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Pays close attention to detail and catches issues before they become larger production problems. Can stay organized while managing multiple production jobs and deadlines. Is mechanically inclined and comfortable performing routine equipment maintenance. Works well independently while also being part of a small team. Is willing to jump in wherever needed to help the production team meet deadlines. Is comfortable working in a production/shop environment. Can stand for extended periods and perform the physical tasks associated with apparel production. Experience Previous professional screen-printing experience is required for this position. Candidates should have hands-on experience with apparel screen printing and be comfortable independently setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting screen-printing equipment. Experience leading production, training other screen printers, maintaining equipment, or working in a high-volume apparel printing environment is strongly preferred. Pay starts at $22.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience. About BODIES Race Company BODIES Race Company produces running events in communities across the country.
