POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Printing Shift Supervisor, the Feeder is responsible for the unpacking of molded product and assisting with teardowns. A fully qualified Feeder will be skilled in the following key responsibilities areas, however, may only be required to perform one or more of the responsibilities at a given time. The Feeder will unpack product from boxes and fill in-feed elevators or in-feed spin bars. Feeders may be required to perform this function on multiple machines at one time (example, in-feed elevators or in-feed spin bars facing each other), or other machines to fill in for lunches and breaks.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES

Unpack product from boxes and fill in-feed elevators or in-feed spin bars Fill in for other feeders on their lunches and breaks Maintain supply of boxes and U-boards for press operator Assist Press Operators with teardown Ensure that machines and the area around the machines are clean Assist operator in copy changes and mechanicals Assist in clean-up of press and area Keep operator informed of variation in molded product Perform other job duties as assigned

Fluent in English with good written and verbal communication skills

Additional Education/Experience/Skills:

Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to train and progress to Printing Operator. Ability to work overtime as required based on Customer Demand.
