In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining flexographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for color management and print quality. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic production environment focused on precision, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Duties Set up and operate flexographic printing presses, ensuring optimal performance and print quality Interpret production documents, including job tickets and specifications, to execute print jobs accurately Adjust machine settings and perform routine maintenance to maintain consistent output Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure accurate color reproduction Conduct quality control checks throughout the production run, identifying and resolving issues promptly Perform prepress tasks such as layout design, graphic adjustments, and preparing files using prepress software Collaborate with the design team on graphic design elements and ensure compatibility with printing processes Monitor large-format printers and digital printing equipment as needed for diverse production requirements Operate cutting, paper binding, and machining equipment to prepare printed materials for finishing Maintain detailed production records and ensure adherence to safety standards and manufacturing protocols Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, including flexo presses, large-format printers, and finishing machinery Expertise in color management techniques and print advertising standards Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress software Knowledge of layout design, typography, and screen printing processes Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately for efficient workflow execution Skilled in digital printing technologies and machine operation across various manufacturing contexts Excellent technical proficiency with industrial equipment adjustment, machining, and quality control procedures Effective communication skills to collaborate with design teams, operators, and quality assurance personnel Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and continuous process improvement methodologies This position is integral to delivering high-quality printed products that meet client specifications while maintaining efficient production workflows.
