Job:
Client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Heidelberg Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining an older Heidelberg printing press 5/color, 40 inches, ensuring the production of exceptional print materials. Your expertise will contribute to delivering vibrant, accurate, and timely print advertising, packaging, and other printed products.Duties:
Set up, operate, and monitor Heidelberg press equipment to produce high-quality printed materials, including labels, packaging, and promotional items.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press machinery to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance.
Implement quality control measures by inspecting prints for color consistency, registration accuracy, and overall print quality.
Manage material handling processes using forklifts or other equipment to load raw materials and unload finished products.
Experience:
Must be capable of running a 5 color 40" Heidelberg. Proven experience operating Heidelberg or similar printing presses in a manufacturing or commercial print environment.Understanding of quality control standards within the print industry to ensure consistent output.
Ability to operate machinery safely with certifications such as forklift operation preferred but not required.
