Job Summary Hotpack is seeking an experienced polytype offset printing operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our high-speed UV dry-offset printing presses (such as the Polytype BDM-682) for plastic cup and container packaging lines. The ideal candidate has a strong background in color matching, blanket mounting, and print quality control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Machine Setup & Operation:

Set up and operate Polytype dry-offset printing presses for high-speed container and cup decoration.

Plate & Blanket Management:

Mount plates and unbarred blankets with self-adhesive backing, ensuring precise cylinder stop angles and accurate registration.

Color Matching & Quality Control:

Perform precise ink formulation and Pantone color matching using digital scales and mixing tools. Monitor print quality, ink adhesion, and registration continuously using magnifying equipment and spectrophotometers.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Conduct routine press maintenance, clean ink fountains, handle UV washes safely, and troubleshoot mechanical or print defects to minimize downtime.

Safety & Compliance:

Follow all company safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and proper chemical/waste disposal guidelines.

Pay:

$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
