Our client is seeking a dedicated Press Operator for their temporary to hire opening in the Jamestown area.

Fri Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The Press Operator is responsible for running various production punch presses or other processing equipment to produce finished components per work instructions. They will inspect and monitor produced components to the required quality documentation. Responsible for the set up and operation of all presses, from single hit tooling to progressive dies.

Use fabricated checking fixtures:

responsible for checking random parts while running and given part. Ability to troubleshoot minor tooling issues or problems. Package parts per customer requirements. May be required to supervise subordinate level operators Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.

Qualifications/Skills:

High School Math and English equivalent 1-5 years in a manufacturing or similar environment Metal punch press experience is a plus Mechanical Aptitude Use of measuring devises: Micrometers, Vernier's Dedicated with attention to detail Time management If you feel like you would be a good fit for this opening, we encourage you to apply today! #IND456
