Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining offset printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials efficiently and consistently. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate offset Lithography sheetfed printing presses Read and interpret job tickets and production schedules Ensure proper ink, paper, and plate selection for each job Monitor print quality, color consistency, and registration throughout runs Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical issues Adjust press settings to maintain quality and efficiency Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate with prepress and finishing departments to meet deadlines Accurately complete production and quality control documentation
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience operating offset printing presses (more preferred for senior roles) Strong understanding of color theory, ink mixing, process and pantone ink colors, and print quality standards Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to read job specifications and follow detailed instructions Familiarity with Heidelberg, Komori, Ryobi or similar offset lithography presses Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Team-oriented with good communication skills

From $23.00 per hour
