Job Description
Job Title:
2nd Shift ETI Press Operator FLSA Status (Exempt or Non Exempt)Non Exempt Division & Department:

Production SupervisorPOSITION SUMMARY
To coat and print quality labels and forms to customer requirements while maintaining quality, cost effectiveness and efficiency. Partner with the assistant and packager on second shift to operate as an effective team. Carry out/communicate work assignments, instructions and/or procedure changes as determined by the Production Supervisor.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coat material with silicone and adhesive to job specifications Set up job to customer specifications as listed on job order Clean up and tear down of jobs Operate press in a safe manner Follow all procedures and work instructions, including completion of necessary paperwork Use GBS in-house computer on a daily basis Responsible for taking samples, testing and excluding product at defined intervals and providing accurate records Provide training to accomplish the company goals and objectives, including departmental, trouble shooting and equipment training. Cross train employee in key positions to reduce downtime and cover absences Implementation of continuous improvement techniques, including waste reduction/elimination and efficiency gains. Coordination of scheduled preventative maintenance with Sr. Maintenance Tech Troubleshoot shoot areas and processes to gain efficiencies and minimize or eliminate downtime. On-going support of the Quality Management System in accordance with the current Quality Standard Requirements. Provide root cause and corrective action responses when necessary. Foster an environment of teamwork across all positions and shifts. Other projects and duties as assigned- 2-5 years Flexographic printing experience preferred
