In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining screen printing equipment to produce high-quality products. Your expertise will ensure that each print meets our rigorous standards for color accuracy, clarity, and durability. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will drive efficiency and excellence. We work Monday through Thursday with 10-hour days (plus occasional overtime during our busy time) and an 8.0-9 hour day during slow season, so you always have a 3-day weekend to keep a healthy work/life balance. Responsibilities Review the daily production schedule and job specifications to understand priorities and plan the workday. Load and configure screens, squeegees, flood bars, inks, platens, flashes, dryers, and other equipment required for each job. Register screens accurately and efficiently to achieve the best overall results. Interpret production documents sot that each job is printed accurately. Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies. Maintain and calibrate industrial equipment Collaborate with team members to guarantee the best overall product and quality for our customers. Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, ensuring safety standards are met and minimizing downtime. Breakdown completed jobs in a timely manner to maintain the daily schedule. 2-5 years recent experience operating automatic screen printing presses. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to adjust industrial equipment for optimal operation. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Excellent attention to detail coupled with a commitment to quality control standards. Basic understanding of typography, layout design and industrial safety protocols. Work with urgency while always maintaining quality. Have ownership of every garment produced on the press maintaining great pride in the work you create.
