Description:
Growing Butler manufacturer is in need of mechanically inclined laborers to learn to operate a Printing Press. Although experience in printing is preferred, mechanically inclined individuals are able to learn the trade with guidance. Some people start here and can work their way into other positions. Looking for someone with a consistent work history, preferably manufacturing or printing of some sort who is ready to commit to a long term job. Press Operators who work in the Collator department must be able to: Make calculations on the machine, perform adjustments. Must be able to read work orders and understand what machine parts, and materials are needed to run a job. The printing machines need to be changed over which requires the ability to lift upwards of 50 to 75 pounds frequently during the course of the shift. Press Operators may also be trained to work in the warehouse where they use a crane to load rolls of paper on the presses. Training is around 6 weeks or more.
