Job Summary Jammin' Butter, a local Johnson City e-commerce business, is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Shipping Label Printer to join our logistics and fulfillment team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately producing shipping labels that ensure smooth and timely dispatch of packages. Your precision and technical skills will contribute directly to our operational excellence, helping us deliver exceptional service to our customers. This position offers an engaging environment where your focus on quality and speed will keep our supply chain moving seamlessly. Along with this work will be additional tasks like packing, shipping, picking, and other warehouse duties. Responsibilities Operate high-volume label printing machines with precision, ensuring correct label formatting and placement. Manage the printing process from digital order data to produce clear, accurate shipping labels aligned with carrier specifications. Review ship list for quality; addressing, orders and shipments. Navigating across multiple websites and software to inspect shipments. Verify label accuracy by cross-referencing order details, shipping addresses, and barcode information before printing. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure labels are correctly affixed to packages and prepared for shipment. Maintain organized records of printed labels, print runs, and machine maintenance logs for quality control purposes. Adjust machine settings as needed to accommodate different label sizes, materials, or special printing requirements. Preferred skillset Proven experience operating industrial printing equipment, especially large-format or high-speed printers. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on printing machinery. Familiarity with navigating shipping software, like Shipstation, Desktop shipper, etc. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to quality control and problem-solving skills.
