We strive to provide the best design concepts possible for our customers across each type of media with precision and efficiency. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Screen Printer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for small details, and the ability to follow directions closely and efficiently. A Screen Printer is responsible for producing high-quality screen prints on various apparel items. This role involves preparing screens, mixing inks, setting up printing equipment, and ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Screen Preparation:

Coat screens with emulsion and expose them to light to transfer designs.

Printing:

Set up and operate screen printing machines. Align materials and screens for accurate prints. Print designs on various apparel items, ensuring high-quality results. Adjust machines for different types of prints and materials.

Quality Control:

Inspect prints for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to equipment and materials to maintain print quality.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with machines.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in screen printing is a plus. Proven experience as a silk screen printer or in a similar role is a must. Knowledge of screen printing techniques and equipment is a must. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. (cushioned floor mats available) Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs). Good vision and ability to distinguish colors.

Working Conditions:

Temperature controlled bay - set to 80 degrees in the summer and winter. (fans available)
