Full Job Description About Us:

East End Ink is a fast-growing print shop specializing in high-quality custom apparel and promotional products. We take pride in our craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong customer relationships. We're looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Screen Printing Assistant to our production team.

Position Overview:

The Screen Printing Assistant will play a key role in supporting our production workflow. They will be working alongside our head press operator. This includes preparing screens, cleaning and, in a timely and efficient manner. You will be working hand and with the main press operator. You will always be moving setting up, printing, adjusting, and working your way through all the nuances of running a screen printing job. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced shop—perfect for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and eager to grow in the screen-printing industry.

Responsibilities:

- Mix inks and help prepare materials for daily production Understand Pantone mixing systems Keep shop, clean, and production-ready Assist printers with quality checks and maintaining efficiency Setting up screens and tearing down jobs Be able to run a screen printing press Follow safety procedures and maintain equipment properly Skills Proficiency in screen printing techniques Experience in selecting, mixing, and handling different types of ink Understanding of Pantone color systems and spot color separations. Previous experience in screen printing or a similar role is highly desirable. Precision in screen placement, ink application, and handling of materials during the printing process.

Qualifications:

Prior screen printing experience a plus, Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work on your feet and handle physical tasks (lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods) Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment Interest in learning and growing within the screen printing field

Language Skills:

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
