B2Sign Group Texas is a comprehensive large format printing company located in Garland, Texas. We have our own company website and product development, marketing, and sales teams, providing one-stop services from product design, manufacturing to logistics. Over the years, with advanced management concepts and advanced equipment and technology, the company is growing at a fast speed. People with lofty ideals are welcome to join our family and grow together. We are currently seeking candidates for the Printing Operator position. Some of the primary responsibilities are prepare machines for printing, operate & monitor printing machines, run several presses with different size and color capacities, ensure that paper and ink meet specifications, etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Set-up and operate digital printing machines.
  • Collect random samples during a print run to make necessary adjustments and prevent misprints.
  • Change press plates or cylinders when needed.
  • Process customer files according to desired specifications.
  • On a daily basis, need to prioritize work assignments based on deadlines, overall company workload, machine capability, and client needs.
  • Responsible for following up with internal team if a desired print job needs to be adjusted.
  • Perform minor repairs and routine equipment maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot any printer issues that arise.
  • Replace ink, paper, toner, and additional printing materials as they run out.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all needed supplies are fully stocked.
  • Loads paper into the feeding tray of a printing press.
  • Verify job specifications.
  • Inspect ink and other mechanisms of the machine to ensure they are ready for the project
  • Monitor the paper as it runs through the press.
  • Make adjustments to the operations to prevent paper jams.
  • Report status of the projects and any issues of the machinery department supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 1 year experience required.
  • Must have computer knowledge and experience.
  • Requires lifting up to 50+ lbs with assistance.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities proficiently.
  • Have a strong sense of responsibility and be mindful.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Some training or relevant hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of color theory preferred.
  • Must be able to work overtime until all printing jobs are completed for the day.
