Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor flexographic or offset printing presses to meet production schedules and quality standards Review job tickets, load substrates, inks, and plates, and perform precise machine adjustments Conduct in-process quality checks for color, registration, and die-cut accuracy, making corrections as needed Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime Follow all safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures in a high-speed manufacturing setting Accurately document production data, waste, and material usage in shop systems Collaborate with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes Train or assist less-experienced operators and support cross-functional team goals Required Skills Printing press operation (flexographic/offset) Machine setup and changeovers Print quality inspection and color/registration control Preventive maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting Understanding of corrugated and paperboard substrates Use of measuring tools and quality instruments Reading job tickets and production documentation Basic computer and production reporting skills Safety and lockout/tagout procedures Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices
