This is an urgent opening for a skilled professional ready to take on a vital role in producing high-quality digital print materials. The successful candidate will operate state-of-the-art large-format digital presses, ensuring precise color management, excellent print quality, and efficient workflow. Responsibilities Operate HP digital presses and other large-format printers with precision, adhering to production schedules and quality standards. Manage color calibration and color management processes to ensure consistent, vibrant output aligned with client specifications. Interpret production documents, including job tickets and print specifications, to set up and run print jobs efficiently. Perform routine mechanical adjustments and troubleshooting on digital press equipment to maintain optimal performance. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the print process, identifying and resolving issues related to color accuracy, image clarity, or mechanical faults. Assist with finishing tasks such as cutting, paper binding, and preparing printed materials for delivery or further processing. Collaborate with prepress teams using graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite and prepress software to prepare files for printing. Maintain detailed records of job runs, machine maintenance, and quality checks to ensure traceability and continuous improvement. Support additional manufacturing activities including screen printing, flexo press operations, or machining as needed. Experience Proven experience operating digital printing equipment, particularly large-format or industrial digital presses such as HP models. Strong understanding of color management techniques and graphic design principles. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and prepress software for preparing print files. Mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment adjustment, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures. Experience in quality control processes within a manufacturing or printing environment. Knowledge of paper handling, cutting techniques, binding methods, and finishing processes like screen printing or flexo press operation is preferred. Ability to interpret complex production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions diligently. Technical proficiency in machine operation combined with a keen eye for detail ensures high-quality output every time.
