ProAmpac is seeking a Skilled Flexo Press Operator to join our flexible packaging team in Cincinnati. In this role, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot flexographic presses to produce high-quality films, pouches, and bags for food, healthcare, and industrial markets. You will interpret job tickets, manage color and registration, perform changeovers, and conduct quality checks while following strict safety and housekeeping standards. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor flexo presses to meet production schedules Interpret job tickets, color standards, and quality specifications Perform press make-readies, plate mounting, ink mixing, and material changeovers Conduct in-process quality checks and adjust settings to maintain print quality Troubleshoot print, registration, and mechanical issues to minimize downtime Follow safety procedures and housekeeping standards in all press operations Maintain accurate production, material, and downtime records in systems Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and scheduling teams to resolve issues Perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment Support continuous improvement, 5 S, and process optimization initiatives Required Skills Flexographic press operation Press setup and make-ready Print quality control and inspection Color matching and registration adjustment Ink mixing and viscosity control Web handling and tension control Preventive maintenance on printing equipment Reading job tickets and production specs Use of measurement tools (densitometer, gauges) Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
