We can help! Freedom is proud to be one of the largest, privately held direct mail service providers in the United States. We are a family-owned business entering our 40th year in operation and are excited to expand our national footprint. We're looking for people who are interested in training to run a printing press. Our unique, self-paced training program offers a combination of classroom and hands-on training that has you working with a mentor to learn how to run a printing press. No prior experience is necessary. All you need is mechanical aptitude, good color vision, and a desire to learn.
In this position you will:
Gain an understanding of digital printing and the 4-color printing process Learn how to hang paper rolls, create splices, and maintain the press Work with the Press Operator to set up the press to run jobs using job instructions prepared specifically for each project Learn how to monitor the press while it's running and make adjustments to ensure that high-quality materials are being produced Gain the confidence and skills necessary to run the press independently
Experience and Education:
