Hiring for an Aircraft Component Assembler in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Must have:
1+ year of Mechanical experience Hand tool and power tool Able to read and interpret diagrams 1st shift 6a-230pm. Not a lot of overtime. Very clean and climate controlled environment. Job Description This role focuses on evaluating, diagnosing, and repairing aircraft components, with a strong emphasis on oxygen systems and related equipment. You will work primarily in the oxygen system shop, handling gauges, helmets, tubes, and system bags, while also supporting basic avionics systems, fuel pumps, landing gear, and oxygen systems. You will use diagnostic tools to identify issues, plan appropriate repairs, and record all work accurately using computer systems. Essential Skills At least 1 year of mechanical experience in a hands-on environment. Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic mechanical aptitude for evaluating, assembling, and repairing components. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting on aircraft components Basic computer skills to enter and update data accurately in maintenance systems. Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine appropriate repair actions. Strong troubleshooting skills in aviation maintenance or similar mechanical environments. Willingness and ability to successfully complete a safety-sensitive drug test, as required for the role. Reliable work habits, including consistent attendance, punctuality, and follow-through on tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures, tools, and aviation-specific systems. Work Environment This role is based in a very clean, climate-controlled shop environment designed for precision aviation work. You will work on a first shift schedule, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with limited overtime expected, providing predictable hours. Each technician has their own workbench, tools, and workspace, supporting organization and focus. The facility emphasizes safety and cleanliness, and you will use diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and computer systems as part of daily tasks. Work uniforms are provided, contributing to a professional and consistent appearance while supporting safety and comfort in the shop. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Menomonee Falls, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
