In-Person, Full-Time Position Summary The Systems Fabricator is responsible for the assembly, fabrication, testing, and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid conveyance systems and components. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and takes pride in producing quality work that meets customer specifications and Connector Specialists' standards. Primary Responsibilities Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic systems and components according to drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Fabricate hydraulic hose assemblies using proper hose, fittings, crimp specifications, and equipment. Measure, cut, bend, and install tubing and related components. Read and interpret basic mechanical drawings, schematics, and bills of material. Perform pressure and functional testing of completed assemblies when required. Troubleshoot assembly and component issues and assist with repairs or modifications. Verify part numbers, quantities, dimensions, and specifications before and during assembly. Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and materials used. Inspect finished assemblies for workmanship, cleanliness, proper routing, and overall quality. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, saws, crimpers, tube-bending equipment, and other shop equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Assist with receiving, stocking, material handling, and inventory as needed. Work with sales and operations personnel to meet customer requirements and production schedules. Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability. Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, automotive, industrial, or fabrication work preferred. Ability to accurately use tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices. Ability to read basic drawings and schematics or willingness to learn. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn Parker products, fluid-power principles, and proper assembly procedures. Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to bend, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive assembly work. Ability to work in a warehouse and fabrication environment where exposure to noise, oils, and industrial equipment is common. Direct hydraulic experience is preferred but is not required for a mechanically capable candidate who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn.
