Job Title:
Assembler - 1st Shift Job Description This role focuses on assembling surface maintenance equipment and large snow removal trucks by following blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. You will use a variety of hand and power tools to build high-quality equipment that meets established specifications, schedules, and standards of quality in a climate-controlled, team-based environment. Responsibilities Assemble surface maintenance equipment and large snow removal trucks according to engineered drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. Assemble component parts for products in line with established specifications, schedules, and quality standards. Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or other appropriate fasteners to ensure secure and durable assemblies. Use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and accurately during the assembly process. Apply strong mechanical aptitude to assemble mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components correctly. Verify that assembled components meet quality requirements and conform to engineering and production instructions. Collaborate with a small team to complete assembly tasks efficiently on the production line. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and schematic drawings. Ability to read and follow production instructions accurately. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices safely and effectively. Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Previous machine operator experience of 3 years. Ability to work effectively as part of a small team in a production environment. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality standards and production schedules. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience assembling mechanical or electrical equipment in a manufacturing or production setting. Comfort working with fasteners such as bolts, screws, and rivets. Ability to follow detailed written specifications and standard operating procedures. Strong problem-solving skills when interpreting technical documentation and resolving assembly issues. Work Environment You will work in a climate-controlled production facility on a small team focused on assembling large trucks for snow removal and related surface maintenance equipment. The role follows a 1st shift schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. You will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices while working around mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components. The environment supports collaboration, safety, and consistent workflow in a structured manufacturing setting. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kaukauna, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.87 - $26.87/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
