Job Description This role focuses on performing a wide range of skilled, repetitive assembly operations to produce high-quality products in a timely and efficient manner. The position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and has experience working on mechanical systems such as cars or machinery. You will follow detailed work instructions and assembly drawings to assemble, test, and inspect multiple product types from start to finish while collaborating closely with operations support teams. Responsibilities Assemble multiple product types from start to finish, following work instructions and assembly drawings. Test and inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Work closely with operations support teams, including Planning, Shop Leads, Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Procurement, to maintain smooth production flow. Maintain high quality expectations and consistently meet or exceed daily production goals. Prepare completed orders for shipping, ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete. Complete all related paperwork, including work orders, inspection documents, and tracking sheets, in a timely and accurate manner. Assist with lean activities and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety. Use various mechanical and electrical measuring equipment to verify dimensions and performance of components and assemblies. Apply problem-solving skills to identify issues, develop alternative solutions, and contribute to group problem-solving efforts. Monitor your own work to ensure accuracy, thoroughness, and adherence to quality standards. Work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance, managing priorities and workflow effectively. Work Environment This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The role is based in a medium-sized manufacturing facility with approximately 60 employees across two plants and about 50-55 employees in the shop environment. The facility can be noisy at times, consistent with a typical manufacturing setting, and the assembly area can be somewhat crowded due to parts staged on the floor and around workstations. The environment is highly collaborative, with many experienced employees who bring 20+ years of knowledge and actively help train and develop newer team members. Safety is a priority, and steel-toed safety shoes and safety glasses are required at all times in designated areas. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Mars, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $41600.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
