Job Title:
Assembler/Mechanical Assembler/Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to support manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for assembling components into finished products in accordance with technical specifications, engineering drawings, and established quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-focused, and experienced in working within structured production environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble components and subassemblies based on drawings, schematics, and work instructions Interpret blueprints, bills of materials, and technical documentation to ensure accurate assembly Use hand and power tools, including torque wrenches, to secure components to specification Perform quality checks to verify alignment, fit, and overall product integrity Inspect materials and identify defects or non-conforming parts Maintain compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain workflow efficiency Requirements Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions Proficiency with hand tools and basic assembly equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods High school diploma or equivalent Pay & Shift $20-$22 Monday-Friday 7am-5pm Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elkridge, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
