Job Title:
Assembler (Entry Level) Job Description The Assembler (Entry Level) performs hands-on assembly of components by following detailed work instructions. This role involves using basic hand tools and packaging equipment to build and prepare sub-assemblies for shipment while maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness standards on the production floor. Responsibilities Perform a variety of manual and semi-routine assembly duties according to work instructions. Read and interpret oral and written instructions to complete assembly tasks accurately. Use hand tools and packaging equipment to assemble and package sub-final assemblies for shipping. Complete production records and required documentation accurately and on time. Meet basic assembly standards for quality, accuracy, and productivity. Maintain equipment and the work area in a clean, organized, and orderly condition. Use various basic hand tools safely and effectively during assembly tasks. Comply with all safety rules and regulations related to the work station and soldering activities. Support production targets by cooperating with changing priorities and workflow needs. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily and weekly production goals. Essential Skills Ability to read, write, and speak the required working language to understand instructions and complete documentation. Ability to read and interpret oral and written assembly instructions. Basic proficiency in using hand tools and packaging equipment in a production environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness and ability to work occasional overtime as needed to support production demands. Reliability and adherence to attendance policies and production targets. Flexibility and cooperation in responding to changing priorities on the production floor. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or secondary school education. Entry-level experience level; suitable for candidates starting a career in manufacturing or assembly. Comfort working with soldering-related tasks while following safety rules and procedures. Attention to detail and commitment to meeting quality and assembly standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
