Job Title:
Assembly Technician Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team in assembling quick release couplings. You will operate assembly equipment, package completed assemblies for shipment, and verify product functions. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality standards while participating in continuous improvement opportunities. Responsibilities Assemble quick release couplings. Operate all assembly equipment efficiently. Package completed assemblies for shipment. Verify the function of the product. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using A3 and 3 legged 5 why tools. Ensure quality standards are met in all processes. Follow standard work and work instructions. Maintain a clean work environment using the 5S principle. Work safely, complying with all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a minimum 90% daily attainment level. Essential Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good dexterity. Attention to detail through visual inspection. Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team. Capability to handle a fast-paced work environment. Motivated with a can-do attitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in production, assembly, general labor, packing, machine operation, and inspection. Proficiency in using hand tools. Work Environment Work the 2nd shift from 2:30pm to 1:00am in a well-lit, clean environment. Engage with new automation and CNC machines, focusing on bench-type assembly in a facility that prioritizes safety and modern equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Grantsburg, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
