Job Title:
Assembly Production Associate Job Description This role focuses on assembling anti-siphoning gas cap assemblies for semi-trucks and other large vehicles in a clean, light industrial production environment. You will work with small parts, follow clear work instructions, use basic hand tools, and ensure each assembled part meets quality standards before packaging and preparing it for shipment. Responsibilities Assemble anti-siphoning gas cap assemblies for semi-trucks and other large vehicles according to established work instructions. Work with small parts and components, ensuring accurate and consistent assembly. Use basic hand tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Inspect assembled parts for quality, identifying and correcting defects or issues. Package finished parts securely and prepare them for shipping. Follow production procedures and meet daily output and quality expectations. Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining focus and attention to detail. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines. Essential Skills Ability to follow detailed work instructions accurately. Comfort using basic hand tools in a production or assembly setting. Strong attention to detail for inspecting parts and ensuring quality. Willingness to perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Reliability and consistency in attendance and punctuality. Interest in hands-on work and building or assembling items. Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred experience working in a manufacturing or general production environment. Experience with assembly, packaging, or inspection in a light industrial setting. Mechanical aptitude or relatable hobbies that involve building or working with hands. Positive, team-oriented personality and strong work ethic. Work Environment This is a first-shift position, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in a clean, light industrial production facility. The site employs approximately 70-100 people and focuses on producing aluminum parts for the automotive industry. The environment involves typical light industrial conditions, with regular use of basic hand tools and handling of small components. Dress code generally aligns with standard light industrial and safety expectations appropriate for a production floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
