Job Title:
Assembler Job Description Join our team as an Assembler where you will utilize your skills with hand and power tools to assemble fabricated metal enclosures. Your expertise in repairing and reworking assemblies efficiently will ensure high-quality output. Responsibilities Assemble fabricated metal enclosures using hand and power tools. Repair and rework assemblies while maintaining thoroughness and efficiency. Operate power and hand tools, measuring devices, and instruments for assembly. Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, tape measure (SAE & Metric), and other written instructions or procedures. Troubleshoot mechanical equipment following inspection procedure guidelines. Perform tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery in all areas of the production area. Essential Skills Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams. Experience with tape measures and other measuring devices. Capability to perform mechanical assembly and troubleshooting. Manufacturing experience, including welding and large assembly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience operating a forklift. Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work the second shift from 3:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday through Thursday, and on Friday from 3:00 pm to 2:30 am. The facility is clean, with all necessary tools provided, and safety is prioritized. While it can be hot in the summer, the open doors provide ventilation. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Machesney Park, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.85 - $21.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
