Manufacturing Associate -Cable Assembly and Inspection Pay:
$20-$24Hours:
1st Shift 6:30am-3pm onday-Friday Job Description Production, assembly, testing, and inspection of electro-mechanical products. Responsibilities Build simple point-to-point cables and assemblies. Read and interpret job orders, product specifications, and documentation to understand requirements for each build and ensure correct materials and processes are used. Complete in-process inspections on assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications throughout the manufacturing process. Demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools such as soldering guns, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saws, rulers, microscopes, and magnifiers. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to the building, inspection, and testing of assemblies in a timely and accurate manner. Perform testing and troubleshooting on cables to confirm they operate correctly, including verifying that frequency and other performance characteristics meet required standards. Essential Skills 4-5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in assembly or electromechanical assembly environments. Proficiency in cable assembly and manufacturing assembly, including building simple point-to-point cables. Ability to perform thru-hole soldering on components and assemblies. Strong ability to measure accurately using a ruler or tape measure and other basic measuring tools. Capability to perform testing and troubleshooting on cables to ensure proper operation and acceptable frequency performance. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with inspection assembly and electromechanical assembly is highly beneficial. Familiarity with testing processes, including frequency testing and use of scopes or related equipment, is a plus. Experience with thru-hole soldering; formal soldering certifications are not required but are considered ideal. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
