Job Description
Assembler / Solderer Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Team Assembler II, where you will play a crucial role in assembling or fitting together parts to form complete units or subassemblies. This person must have previous soldering experience. Responsibilities Assemble or fit together parts to form complete units or subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and special equipment. Ability to join, repair, or fasten metal parts together by melting a filler metal called a solder. Experience using soldering irons, torches, or automated machines Assemble products including visors, heavy truck components, paddle locks, T-handles, D-rings, vents, and roll-up doors. Place parts in specified relationships and fasten them by hand, hand tools, or air tools. Inspect, test, and verify the accuracy of assembled articles for conformance to standards using measuring or testing equipment or by visual examination. Maintain the cleanliness of machinery and the general working area. Inform the production supervisor of any production problems and complete scrap forms, work orders, and daily move sheets as directed.

Work Environment This position is located in the manufacturing department, working Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. You will work at a bench, conveyor line, or on the floor. The environment requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
