Job Title:
Hydraulic Pump Assembly Technician Job Description This role focuses on assembling hydraulic pumps on a production line using hand and power tools, following detailed specifications to ensure high-quality, leak-free products. You will work in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility, contributing to consistent and efficient pump production while maintaining strong attention to detail and safety. Responsibilities Assemble hydraulic pumps on an assembly line according to detailed specifications and work instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, and presses to position, fasten, and secure components in the correct order. Build the same pump model repeatedly throughout the day to maintain consistent quality and output. Assist with the assembly of other types of pumps as needed to support production demands. Place completed pumps into testing cells to verify performance and ensure there are no leaks or defects. Interpret basic blueprints or diagrams to understand component placement and assembly requirements. Use measuring tools, such as tape measures, to confirm correct dimensions and alignment. Essential Skills Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how mechanical components fit and function together. Previous industrial experience in a production, warehouse, or similar environment. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or assembly diagrams. Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate assembly and leak-free pump performance. Ability to stand on your feet for the entire scheduled shift. Reliable transportation to consistently arrive on time for assigned shifts. Willingness to learn new tasks and processes and adapt to changing production needs. Self-motivation and a strong, positive attitude toward teamwork and productivity.
Description:
Assembling oil field products and equipment in a non-climate controlled facility. Using hand and power tools, operating machinery Knowledge with blue prints and schematics Hands on, high standard and repetitive type work. Ability to work 10 hour shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, working in different stations, need to be mechanically inclined.
