About the Role Agile is seeking a hands-on and dependable Assembly Technician (Pedestal Builder) to support the production of custom shower bases. This role is responsible for safely and efficiently constructing wooden pedestals that support and maintain the proper shape of custom shower bases. The Pedestal Builder will use a variety of hand and power tools, follow established build specifications, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean and safe production area. The ideal candidate has basic carpentry or woodworking experience, is comfortable using power tools, and can accurately follow measurements, instructions, and production requirements. Responsibilities Build wooden pedestals used to support custom shower base products. Follow drawings, measurements, work instructions, and established build guidelines. Safely operate tools including rulers, saws, pneumatic nail guns, drills, impact drivers, and sanders. Measure, cut, assemble, and finish materials accurately. Perform quality checks on shower bases and pedestal components received for production. Identify and report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or quality issues. Maintain tools and equipment and notify appropriate personnel when repairs are needed. Monitor materials and inventory and communicate replenishment needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using proper housekeeping practices. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards. Assist other production departments when needed. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous carpentry, woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or related hands-on experience preferred. Familiarity with common hand and power tools. Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as rulers and tape measures. Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, operating procedures, and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a production team. Reliable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime as needed. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent walking, reaching, handling, gripping, and repetitive use of hands and arms. Ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate power tools and manufacturing equipment. Ability to perform work requiring close vision, distance vision, and color recognition. Ability to work around moving mechanical parts, dust, fumes, heat, and other conditions common to a manufacturing environment.
