Assembly Technician Location:
Tucson, AZ Pay:
$17.50/hr
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM We are seeking a dependable Assembly Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assembling and testing precision electronic and mechanical components while ensuring quality standards and production goals are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and enjoys hands-on work.
Responsibilities:
Assemble electronic and mechanical components according to work instructions and specifications. Read and interpret bills of materials (BOMs), assembly procedures, and production documents. Inspect components and finished assemblies to verify quality standards. Operate hand tools safely and effectively. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area. Meet daily production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality. Collaborate with team members to support production schedules and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Experience using hand tools and performing assembly-related tasks. Basic computer skills and ability to navigate production documents. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Reliable attendance and dependable transportation. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Soldering experience is preferred but not required.
